  • 500g Beef mince

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pan and add the onion, carrot, celery, and garlic. Cook over low heat for 10 minutes or until soft.
  2. Turn up the heat and add the beef mince. Cook for 5 minutes or until browned.
  3. Add the red wine and let it evaporate for a few minutes.
  4. Add the chopped tomatoes, beef stock cube, bay leaf, salt, and pepper. Cover the pan and simmer over low heat for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
  5. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water according to the package instructions.
  6. Drain the spaghetti and add it to the pan with the Bolognese sauce. Toss everything together until the spaghetti is coated in the sauce.
