  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Cut the spaghetti squash in half lengthwise and remove the seeds with a spoon.
  3. Brush the inside of the squash with vegetable oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  4. Place the squash halves cut-side down on a baking sheet and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until tender.
  5. While the squash is cooking, heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
