  • 1 pound of ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 can of crushed tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon of dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon of dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1/4 cup of red wine
  • 1 pound of spaghetti
  • 1/4 cup of grated parmesan cheese

Instructions:

1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Once the beef is cooked, remove it from the pot and set it aside.

2. In the same pot, add the diced onion and minced garlic. Cook until the onions are translucent.

3. Add the can of crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.

4. Add the cooked ground beef back to the pot and stir well. Pour in the red wine and stir again.

5. Bring the sauce to a simmer and let it cook for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

6. While the sauce is cooking, cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions.

7. Once the spaghetti is cooked, drain it and add it to the pot with the sauce. Stir well.

8. Serve the Spaghetti Bolognese hot with a sprinkle of grated parmesan cheese on top.
